Our Amazing opportunity to work at Gramble!

First off, we want to thank the guys at Gramble for lending us their space to work on SaveTheSeas
it was a very nice and productive day where a lot of things were accomplished. Thanks guys!

So, this is us working on the game.

We were really trying to brainstorm in the beginning

Sometimes we were just being silly...

Other times we were presenting to each other

We were fortunate enough to have an open space and create an amazing storyboard. It took us at least 4 hours to have a common consensus, but we are happy with the story board.

Making the Music

So, we sat down with a couple of beers and listend to our new soundtrack in the studio! It took a while, but after a couple of months this came out!

From Idea to Reality

We started with a couple of drawings:

Trying new props: Pirate Style

Also check out our new amazing pirate boat!!

Should we have a map?

UI suggestion for level selection screen

Off course we should do this only if we have time and we think it really makes a difference, cause we already have a bit of work in making the current level seletion work

Our super heroes

So we are trying to figure out what is the best angle for our game. We agreed that the best might be to have super heroes!

They are the team of super hero fish, the chosen ones, the protectors of the Seas.

Mother sea has spread millions of her eggs around the oceans of the world,
but mankind is destroying them,
so our superheroes mission is to collect as many as they can,

Starting from day 1

There was a lot of clutter from the first image, there were too many things happening in the little screen

So Vaggelis cleaned everything to look like this!

My opinion is that the water is nice but it is irrelevant in terms of aesthetic with the drawing approach that the other graphics have. So I am not so sure about the result... In addition, it distracts the player form the whole scene and "collecting the coins" comes in second priority. However the lighter color blue is much better.
